Charlie Brear 2020 Collection – New In Store

Another autumn bridal collection for 2020, this time courtesy of Charlie Brear.

Here are the Charlie Brear wedding dresses available in store now for our 2020 brides, along with some personal styling tips to make them pop even more!

Charlie Brear 2020 – Amine

Amine is made from a silk-blend crepe de chine, a luxurious fabric that gives the dress the look of a heavy drape but a lightweight wear when on. I love the way it’s a halter-neck that’s not a halter-neck: there’s no neck collar, but instead you have twisted straps leading into a deep V-back.

Style tip: Looking for sleeves or something to cover up the top of your arms? This could be your wildcard neckline, as this cut-out can be useful in leading attention away from that area.

Charlie Brear 2020 – Trine

This high-neck, bias-cut sheath dress is like the Calvin Klein of wedding dresses: clean, simple, stunning. And then you turn around… A deep, draping cowl back that finishes just above the hips. And don’t worry, you can add a detachable lace panel for the ceremony, and whip it out for the fun stuff!

Style tip: You can also match a back panel with capped sleeves. Check out the Oralia sleeves in the photos and you’ll get the picture.

Charlie Brear 2020 – Zarah

Zarah struck me as effortlessly cool, with its clean lines from the front, its ¾ length sleeves and its beautiful draped back that adds just a touch of softness when you turn around. The back gives the illusion of a cowl but instead ties at the back to give the always flattering sash look. The washed satin fabric means you get a vintage soft sheen that’s not too shiny. And sheen but not shine is what we like!

Style tip: A dress like Zarah with a long draping sash down the middle of your back has the effect of halving the width of your back, as well as making your bum look that little bit more pert.

Charlie Brear 2020 – Farah skirt

In gold dash organza, the Farah skirt has a natural stiffness that gives you an added bit of drama over a slinkier silhouette. And who doesn’t want more gold at a wedding?

Style tip: Style this skirt with Amine, or something like Payton for even more of a transformation in shape when the skirt comes off.

Charlie Brear 2020 – Goya jacket

The Goya voulaire jacket comes in a soft and flowing lace and works perfectly with any V-neck or scoop-neck dress. It adds a wide and easy-to-wear sleeve, along with a deep V-neck and back to lengthen your body.

Charlie Brear 2020 – Lise top

This stretch crepe top can be worn under many of Charlie Brear’s styling additions, or styled alone to embrace the crop-top look. (If you’ve got it, flaunt it!) I would recommend trying it with the Lyra dotty overskirt, or even a feather skirt for the ultimate separates combo.

Also new in Charlie Brear – Payton with Ava sleeves

Give the classic Charlie Brear shape of Payton a new twist with oversized blouson sleeves in matching crepe. I love it for its nod to medieval castle chic, if that’s a thing!
