A puppy isn't just for Christmas. But...

We know a puppy isn’t just for Christmas. But this festive season we’ve signed up with the charity Canine Partners to sponsor one of their amazing pups-in-training. He’s a Golden Retriever, and his name is Cupid. Perfect.

We met some of the Canine Partner dogs (and their humans) at this year’s carol service in the nearby village of Edensor, and fell in love with the concept. There was even a live demo with Rio and OJ showing off their skills. It’s not every day you see a dog loading and unloading a washing machine on demand, in a church on the Chatsworth Estate!

We’re looking forward to hear how little Cupid gets on as he starts his training. Hopefully one day he’ll be doing incredible things like this for someone in need:
